Sex Crimes
Orange County Sex Crime offenses run the gamut from moderate misdemeanors to extremely serious felonies. Some of these crimes involve direct aggression against another person/people. Other crimes involve intent to commit unlawful sexual acts or generally inappropriate and unlawful sexual behavior.

Those who are found guilty of certain sex crimes will have to register with their local law enforcement and DOJ as sex offenders for the rest of their lives (Penal Code Section 290.) Failure to register could cost the offender years in prison.
